Fox being greedy???????

So, I came across this article today, which says that no more fox shows will be shown in New Zealand.,

 

 

The article states that

The television industry source said Fox had driven a hard bargain, refusing to discuss buying individual shows and forcing MediaWorks into a take it or leave it decision.

 

 

 

It's much like with Game of Thrones, you have to have HBO to get the content or tough luck.

 

With this, not being able to pick and choose what shows to broadcast, instead having to buy everything( and pay through the roof for the content most likely), I can see why  all these shows will be pirated.

 

Heck, the first two seasons of Homeland, In New Zealand we got the latest episode shown 1 or 2 days after it was shown in the States.

 

 

Now, we will be so far behind if we ever get the shows at all

 

 

Oh, and that show Blue Bloods???, we are part way through season 1, in the States, they are onto the 4th season.

 

Where's the logic in that????

The networks have to change their mentality on how tv shows are distributed, otherwise dumb s**t like this will continue to happen

And then they wonder why people use torrents to watch TV shows :angry:

The only difference between a politician and a criminal in patience . A criminal will try to take everything immediately where as a politician known to take it one small piece at a time

Meh. We dont watch "TV" in our house anyway, Everything is downloaded as soon as possible and streamed throughout the house between 3 computers and two TV's... and technically one PS3 but ...yea....
