Youtube just changed their comments

The entire new google layout is terrible. The previous version was the best, can it will always be.

I had the new update as well. I think the comments are a lot more structured now. Then, YouTube asked me for the millionth time to link my account with Google+, which I refused, and now it is not letting me log in...

And its in, the new Google Plus comments system is now integrated (well at least for me but maybe not everyone yet) into Youtube. 

 

Have you used it? Any thoughts?

Personally I'm not very happy. For one, Youtube keeps asking me (for like 6 months at least once a week) to change to my real name and no matter how many times I tell it to f**k off it just keeps waiting a week or so and pestering me again. And I have found a good few times that it has actually changed me without asking... so am I now going to end up posting in my real name a few times before actually noticing and changing back?

 

Also I was unable to reply to a few people on comments... what the hell? no reason just "you cannot reply to this comment"... eh?

You cannot reply to "legacy" and non google+ comments,nor can you thumbs up them.Also somehow i joined google+ without my permission.

The worst thing is,how buggy the iOS m.youtube is.You can scroll the comment once and that is it.Once it stops moving after you scrolled,it is stuck there forever.Need to refresh page to view the others.Not to say the scrolling is very choppy.

I think they just need to simplify the layouts (pretty much back to the beginning of 2012) and keep integration to a minimum. Meaning none of this stupid G+ BS. Set up your twitter to tweet every time you upload for all I care since the sub box system is broken but my god is this stupid now. Comments on your videos don't show up in your inbox anymore either, it's all on your G+ page.

And I hate this the most. I have found that I am more than once signed in with my G+ and not my YouTube, without my explicit consent.

I have some major issues -

 

-Can't thumb up or down

 

-For replies, I cannot see the original post (no show comment)

 

-I cannot reply to comments, only make new ones

 

-Time markers no longer work to skip to a certain part

 

-Top comments do not show how many thumbs they have

 

I was talking to some people on Steam about the new system, they also have the same issues. None of us have Google+.
