When are we going to see the Skylake processors go down in price?

When are we going to see skylake CPUs go down?

I am planning a CPU-MOBO-RAM upgrade and I wanna know if i should save my money and buy it later... But, oh god that sweet 1151 and DDR4 and better processors... I want it!:x

Why would it? What are you willing to pay for that sweet lga 1151, and ddr4/ ddr3L.

I'm hoping ryzen is awesome, otherwise we're f'ed for pc cpu's for the next 5 years.

I mean, i thought marketing basics 101, but i guess i was mistaken.

Yeah, me too, I wanna see AMD rise again, but in the recent years they havent done anything remarkable against intel(in CPUs).

The thing is that intel hasn't had to follow marketing 101 for the last decade. They have a monopoly on a process, and their nearest competitor has to pay to use the process.

So true, but sad. AMD used to be on par with intel, and now, they only have an RX series that mostly supports them, that gets almost rekt by a 1060, a 1050 and a 1050ti by nvidia.
