Should I keep playing games if my phones getting hot?

I have the new iPhone 7 plus and I bought bully the game and a few minutes in it gets hot but not so hot it burning it gets a bit warm but notiseable heat. However once it's warm hot it don't get any hotter but does it kinda stress the phone if I constantly play it ?

It won't break, the CPU will just throttle down if it gets too hot.

If the phone gets too hot then a warning will show up and won't allow you to play anymore.

Are you sure that you got the iPhone and not some crappy Android phone? They usually tend to get really hot when you play 3D-intensive games on it, unlike the iPhone that usually stays pretty cool.

Lol no it's a contract phone I get a new phone every 3 years it's real iPhone

You'll receive a screen with a stupid little thermometer if it's dangerously hot.

You should be fine. Phones usually regulate themselves and CPU throttle there CPU's when the phone gets hot.

The phone would throttle back the CPU if it gets to hot plus apple wouldn't make a phone if it couldn't handle a game THEY APROVED to put on the App Store

Dont worry mate,it will not break.Just have on your mind that if you have overclocked your cpu(on an android phone),yiu might have to stop for a little bit.

I've got a Sony Xperia Z3 and this thing got a MASSIVE heat problem.

 

So I grabbed myself an 80mm fan I had lying around and soldered a 2-pin wire to an USB connector and taped it with double side tape to my phone.
Plugged it into a power bank and guess what!

 

No more heat problems!*

 

*when it´s winter, -10°C and I'm freezing as hell

Maybe the hours you play with your android  is too much or there are many apps that are open. We know, there's always limits to what even an Android can do and for how long it can do a certain app or game to process effectively.  I think, you should let it rest for some time and disable unneeded functions and features. Hope it helps.

This once happened with my tablet and I had to cool it down because I didnt want it to burn my hands.

throw it in some cold water that's what I do to my s7 it works though should be noted since the latest nougat update my phone has not been overheating
