What is the first operating system you have used ?

 

DOS (Disk Operating System) :ph34r:

CPU = A10 6800K (@4.3Ghz) / GPU = HD 8670D (@844mhz/ram@1866mhz) - 2016 ≠ Dual Cores - why learn Linux ? - OLD intel x4 cpu (Q6600) + amd HD 7950 - this is what i think on watts x dollar cost - CPU "bottlenecks" only start to show "at the super high end cards" (like the 390) if you have a 4 cores CPU

The first one i've used is probably windows 98

The first I used in school was probably some version of DOS. My first home PC ran Mac OS 7.5. The oldest I've used was probably whatever runs on the Commodore 64, but I got one of those from a yardsale years later.

I really hate showing my age, but what ever OS was on the TRS-80's we had in school

DOS don't remember the version but I do remember playing prince of Persia on it!

First OS i used might be AmigaOS Workbench 1.3 on my A500 or Solaris running on a SparcStation at my fathers job. Im not sure what comes first

It all began in 1979, and the operating system was CP / M. The first portable computer weighing only 27.5 lb. Now it is the year ??? and the last 20 years the operating system is Linux.

 

No one in their right mind does not use Windows. Not even a gun threatened. :D
