just placed an order for the 1060

I have the 1060 6GB for 1080P, it's pretty much all you'll ever need. I'm waiting for the RX 490 to come out, so this is just a placeholder. But, it's still super quiet and very cool running. Perfect for 1080p.

it uses hbm

and typically performs better

also i like amds buisness practice more they are alot more open source

and nvidia likes to do things to their older generation of cards once they are dethroned

It's recent, decent, new architecture, and quite and runs cooool, never hot.

My gtx 1070 never went over 61c    ( asus strix )

I just like to get newest technologie and I also prefer Nvidia so thats why I tend to choose 1060
