So only a month till new year / christmas so was wondering what is your resolution. Mine is a solid 1080p ok maybe not

 

I will commit to be putting less blue things in my life and in the forum.

I like goals for 2017 instead:

  • Pay off my house.
  • Create a home network complete with server.
  • Create a computer AI god that will let me do anything.
  • Come up with more goals before I run out of them like always.

I want to win the lottery. $50,000,000 canadian dollars would suffice. I would invest the majority of it, then give a big chunk to both my parents and my brother. I would invest in high dividend yields which are common above 5% and some in the double digits. As well as zero risk guaranteed investments which max out at 2.5%. I think where its at is commercial property ownership and property development which has its own risks. I would buy personal property on Vancouver Island ocean front, a ranch on a lake such as Lake Okanagan interior BC, a massive farm and a mansion on a lake and ridge. Toys would have to be the token Lamborgini or Ferrari, Toyota Hilux like Top Gear, and Ford Raptor F150, a hauler, dirt bikes, sport bikes, choppers, quads, dune buggies, motor coaches, travel trailers, for all my tech stuff I would hire an over paid nerd to purchase and setup.

To lose the last 26lbs I need to drop to hit my target (54 down 26 to go!)

To pay off my student loans (should be done in the middle of the year)

To save up enough for a nicer used car

Maybe move out of my parents place at the end of the year.
