GTX 780Ti - NVİDİA's Newest and Fastest GPU Ever.

I was really hoping they'd show a 790.

Do you want to knock out the power grid?

I think the titan, because of it's inclusion in the new steam machines, has already had a large internal price drop, and hasn't gone public with it yet. I've heard separate rumors about the two of them,  I'm curious to see if there will be a TU, I was expecting a 770TI to be honest. I think the Q1 will be announcement spec release and testing, and sales will begin early Q2, but you never know sometimes. If they really want to put all of their new tech into the early launch they'd be able to pull off 40% increase with a TU if it's 1000$ like when the titan was released, but if they don't I'd agree that 20% would be 880, and it'll be 100$ more then the 290x if i had to guess.

don't expect to see maxwell until Q3 2014. they will wait until after pirate island launches and that's not until Q2 assuming no delays

Have I not been keeping up with latest leaks or was the 780Ti never leaked before announcement? o_o

I think they will discontinue the Titan and have this as their flagship. That avoids the problem of them going head to head. The Titan launched in an environment without competition from any AMD single GPU solution, nvidia knows the situation is changing now and the Titan No longer makes sense.

People who bought a Titan will not like this one bit...

Nvidia could still release a GK110 with 13 SMXs and have it beat the Titan by raising the clock speeds, I still maintain, this will not be a fully unlocked GK110.

I and my Titan SLI beg to differ. I don't mind one bit if they discontinue it. Its the way the world works, ya know?

Seeing that the R9 290x comes with only a little oc-potential (with reference cooler) and comparing it to an oced 780 (with reference cooler) the R9 290x loses in almost every benchmark (Res 1080p / 1440p). So I am really wondering how NVIDIA will price the 780 Ti, also considering that the R9 290x (probably) is priced lower ($549) than the GTX 780 (non-Ti $649)

That's a sexy card... compared to my GT210

Was settled on an AMD but since i don't have the cash ATM I may have to wait now.

I would imagine the 780 will come down in price to meet the 290x and the 780Ti will be priced at $649. If that's the case, and without seeing non-reference 290x coolers, I can't think of a reason NOT to get a 780 of one flavor or another. All this Mantle and 4k hoopla aside, of course.

- pricedrop for GTX780 and 770 (matching prices of R9 290 and R9 280x)

When do you think we will see the prices drop? I want to get another GTX 770 LE so I can go SLI

Pure speculation from my side. I could imagine that it drops in price soon after the 780Ti is released.

The red team is still winning so far, we can't say anything until we see some benchmarks.

True where did the cheap GPUs go ?

The HD7970 was on release only 400 and the GTX680 500 now all the GPUs are 150 more :(

The bigger bandwith might be interesting, 3/6gb gddr5 is doesn't say a thing without a pricetag on the 6gb. Looks otherwise just like an overclocked Titan.

The aftermarket cool sulotions need to give the r9 290x a lot more headroom, the 780 is going to be the better choice if the prices drop to the same level.

So basically an overclocked titan with less vram and higher TDP(heat?)

Won't this cripple the overclocking potential since so much has been taken away already? (Then again, the 290X is pretty overclocked as well). Good leak on the pricing though, pretty much confirms a drop of the 780 to $550 or $500 if this was true.

Yeah they are probably doing this to look better in benchmarks with an already (factory) high clocked r9 290x.

If you look at benchmarks with oced R9 290x and 780, you can see that the R9 290x isn't really faster (or only very little) after all ...

The 780 is a cut cut cut down Titan, the 780ti is a cut down Titan, the Titan is the Titan.

Ugh my brain.

But look at it from this slightly different view, yes the GTX 780 is a cut down Titan but performs pretty close for a lot less money in games, a GTX 780 Ti is posed to exceed the Titans performance in gaming and still being cheaper (not much cheaper maybe but cheaper none the less).

I still want the GeForce GTX 790, I think that could be quite something, a pair of those huge dies on a single board, hell yea :)

In a perfect world it would be a titan /w 6gb of 7ghz ram. but i'm a dreamer.
