GPU Troubles

Hello. I'm having issues with my AMD Radeon RX 6600 8GB.

The computer fails to post and shows a light on the vga section on my motherboard.

I am currently using a nvidia gtx 1650 super as a backup

Any help is appreciated.

Amd Ryzen 5 5500

2TB of storage

16GB of RAM

MSI B550M Pro-Vdh WiFi motherboard

AMD Radeon RX 6600 8GB

What PSU do you have?

Also, dumb question but a surprisingly common mistake, did you plug all of the RX 6600s power connectors in?

I have a 750 watt ev3a g+ and yes, all the connectors are in

Do you have another pc to test it on? Even a friend's?

No, But I have a old rig from the ‘95 - 05 era

Does it use PCIe gen 3 for the graphics cards?

I dunno. It always used internal graphics due to it just being a file server

Take a look at the slot and see if your GPU an plug in

It was compatible with the mb and it worked like a charm

Hmm, possible pcie damage on your motherboard then maybe?
