G2A games

ripper101

So I am just wondering if anyone knows how G2A gets their codes for so cheap without losing money? Do they get the codes for the games when they're on sale or something?

People steal credit cards and quickly buy game codes with them, then resell the game codes at G2A.

always use G2A shield for all purchases and you will be fine. But the general consensus is that it is kinda sketchy so always buy with the sellers with G@A shield

G2A is more like Ebay. Users sell keys that they have. G2A checks for authenticity and allows it. The money goes to the user with a cut going to G2A.

Same here.

If battlefield 1 would have costed 60usd for the full game i would have had no problem buying it from Origin, but since it costs 120USD for the full game i couldn't care less whether the key i'll get is stolen or not.

People buy games on steam sale or humble bundle then sell them on G2A.

if that was in most cases, G2A would be having backcharges 24/7, 99% rating says otherwise

You might as well just pirate instead of using G2A. At least with pirating you're not stealing money from the companies whose games you play.

Could you elaborate? I've never used G2A so I have no experience with it.

One of the big scams is people buying keys with stolen credit cards and then selling them on G2A. Then the credit card companies hit the seller with chargebacks once they find out the cards are stolen. It can really fuck small studios over especially.

Huh, I didn't realize that individuals could sell keys there.

Thanks for the info, I've heard people talk about them before but never used them.

Outright credit card theft certainly happens on G2A, but it's not the only way to sell games cheaply. Sometimes it's a key purchased in a low-income foreign territory, then resold in the west to undercut all of the authorized resellers. Sometimes it's just someone innocently trying to turn a profit from a charitable organization by reselling Humble Bundle keys. You know, totally legit stuff. ;)
