Finally! Someone else who hates shells.

I can't understand how it's possible to enjoy popcorn when it's almost like every single kernel has a couple plastic shards in it.

 

Corn puffs are what's great about popcorn without what makes popcorn bad~

Here's my experience with them...

 

I got a 2nd gen x1 Carbon, a famous lemon, and got it replaced a couple times before they offered an exchange. I traded it in for a T440s at no extra cost.

The T440s worked fine, until some kid ran into me in the hallway at school and it took a violent fall onto hard tile. It still worked, but it was beat up. I sent it in.

They said they no longer had the components to repair it, and offered me an exchange.

I traded it in for the highest spec'd T450s at no extra cost, and my only problem with it was a very slightly discolored blotch on the display. When I contacted them about it, they agreed to send me out a new display panel to replace myself (at my request, they didn't just say 'do it yourself'), at no extra cost.

 

I still have the T450s and it's a wonderful machine. There were a couple times when they took WAY longer than they should've to get back to me, but overall they're pretty damn good.

there are plenty of slim light gaming laptops, yes they are expensive, but some are not TOO bad

Well the razer blade is one of the thinnest but sucks compared to one with a desktop grade 980. But seeing EVGAs new teaser for the 1070 in a laptop a little bit thicker then the razer blade is very cool. Just having a 30 pound Titan GT80 defeats the point of a laptop

Just keeping this here as a I would say they are not bad when it comes to their machines, but it's overpriced for the parts that make up the machine, so basically you are paying more for the Alienware brand name and not the real value of the PC. The same can go for all Pre-Built Makers... Just be careful when purchasing certain parts that are overpriced for what they are really worth... I hope this helps... Alien ware is good if you have a lot of money. There are other options if you want good build quality and performance. Try this company called xidax basic build start at $599 and they look good and perform great.

My laptop moves between about 3 desks so I really dont need this skinny little gigabyte p35. Id love a desktop 1080 though.

They suck. Expensive considering how cheaply a good pc can be built for these days. I have an Aurora R4 which began to have problems literally a week before the warranty ran out. The fans would run at full speed all the time for no reason it just started one day. Support does absolutely nothing and continued ignoring calls for a week till it ran out. Performance was ok just build your own and save money and trouble.

You should not think of ThinkPad as a Lenovo, because they have little to nothing incommen with a normal Lenovo. The T series ThinkPad is seen as the best build business class, by basicly anyone that knows something about laptops and business laptops

yeah but its razer so of course it sucks haha

 

The GT80 Titan is an 18.4" desktop replacement / mobile workstation, its not a laptop, but since the new one has SLI 1080s and a desktop i7... its basically a full PC with build in display and keyboard that you can move around 
- to some people that is the perfect device

But yeah there are plenty of reasonably thin, well cooled laptops with decent graphics cards

gaming laptops are going from strength to strength these days, and the more popular they become the cheaper they will be
