AMD Zen ES leaked benchmarks: performance similar to a Core i5 4670K?!?!

Djole123

Alright . Did the testing myself using an overclocked r9 290 ( comparable to the rx 480 , running at 1100/1400 ) and an i7 3770k at 4.4ghz

Used the same settings in the screenshot in the wccftech article

Wccf result :

My result ( note that  "cpu framerate" is most relevant here ):

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

An 845 also isn't a true quad core, it has the same 2 modules 4 core layout as an FX4 cpu (where there are shared resources).

Thanks for the reminder. This means that a hypothetical 3.8 GHz 4 physical core zen CPU would not be 441 in cinebench but what ever 441+L3 cache + AMD 2 thread per core could achieve to compare it to an i7 or what ever 441+L3 cache for an i5
