Actually, in one regard I'm kinda looking forward to school starting again. Though I start school next month.

The older you get the faster time seems to go by. It's actually scientifically theorized that perception of time is slower if you experience something new. So keep trying new things if you want it to slow down a bit :)

I love school. Means I don't have to do the dishes, feed cows, mow the lawn, weed the garden, fold clothes, and so on. The part I don't like is all the required classes that do literally nothing but waste your time. Also lunch time is great for me. I bring my second PC and just have a LAN party with other kids every day.

I heard a simpler explanation.  As we age, the amount of time we have experienced increases, meaning our conception of time increases along with it.  When you've been alive 10 years, the weekends seem like forever.  When you've been alive 30 years the weekends are shorter in relation to your expectience of time as a whole.

I have heard this one too.

When you are 10 years old, the next year of your life seems like 10% of what you have already done. When you are 40 years old, one year feels like 2,5% of your life.

Your later years in your life may feel shorter because of that reason.

feel like every year passes by like nobody's business. everytime just after holidays, i'd feel depressed about how holidays are over, just to feel like days have passed when the next holiday reaches(our holidays are near the end of each quarter). my most important exams in 4 years are coming and everyday feels like forever but i'm sure it'll feel like a week once its over xD
