Currently running a single Gigabyte HD 7950 for a Yamakasi Catleap 2B (1440p 96Hz), and a Samsung 23"(1080p 60Hz) monitor, I really want to upgrade to the Polaris line up in preparation of getting a second 1440p monitor.

I have a GTX 970, however the linux support for AMD's Polaris cards looks promising so it will be a nice upgrade in that regard.

Great budget present for any grandparent (,joking, love you AMD). Would also be nice to see if Polaris is any good versus my current GTX-970. If not, HEY, it's a free graphics card and I can build a separate pc. gibe nao pls

Kinda disappointed over GTX 760I,  currently own. I'd like to be able to play recent titles on 1080p with 60fps, thats why I'm considering the new polaris family.

Making 3D game art and the performance boost would be pretty large at the same time as reducing power load.
