AMD Polaris Giveaway

I have a 970 so if i could pair it with an RX 480 in EMA, that would be ideal.

I currently have a EVGA GTX 960, I'm a graphic design so that sometimes can be a hassle. Thanks for the chance :)

I have had my own built rig for YEARS now, and it is starting to show its age.  I am running a AMD Radeon HD 6870 at 1 GB, and its not enough to run the newest games out there ( I can't play the new Doom :( ).  Furthermore, no job + college student = no cash to splurge on new hardware.

As to why I want to upgrade to the Polaris line up of cards?  One is pretty obvious, and its that I need a new graphics card!  Secondly, I've been a fan of AMD ever since I was a child, and have been cheering them on with their support of affordable high performance graphics cards.

Lets hope lady luck shines in my favor!

===========================================================================================================================

My Rig: "Zombirok"

CPU: AMD Phenom X6 1090T Black Edition

RAM: Kingston 8 GB

Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX

GPU: Radeon HD 6870s (1 GB)

HDD: <Boot> Dual Western Digital 160 GB Mechanicals in RAID 0

<Storage> Single Seagate 1 TB Hybrid Mechanical & SSD HD

I'm running an amd r670 core edition which gets the job done on most games but it's not why I'm looking for an upgrade. I bought an ips monitor for art and with these new displays coming out I would like to get one of those next. This card would be a good upgrade to 4k or maybe even 5k

r9 390 here with a 750w power supply and an i5 3470. if i get this graphics card id probably just try to crossfire it.

so i just realized that i cant crossfire those two cards, so... ill just return my r9 390 for the money and get another rx 480 or whatever card i win, then ill crossfire them ^_^.

interesting story is that my system originally came with an nvidia gtx 760, but the solder balls cracked or something do to heat and my screen started pixelating. so i went to bestbuy to have them print out a receipt cause i am a rewards member there, and they just up and gave me a full refund for the card without even testing it. The best part is the card was only worth $180 on newegg when i returned it but they gave me $220 back. so i used that money plus $100 of my own to just buy the r9 390 on the shelf with lifetime warrenty.

What 970? I hear that some of the better 970s out preform the RX480.

So AMD's new graphics cards are here, and they are pretty sick... But what's even more sick than hearing about a new graphics card? Owning one for yourself!

Aw yeah man, we are giving away one Polaris 10 video card and one Polaris 11 video card thanks to our good friends over at AMD.

So, how do you enter to win one of these fine graphics cards?

1. Post a comment below telling us what graphics card you're using in your rig and why you want an upgrade to AMD's Polaris lineup. The two winners will be selected at random, so no, the content of your comment doesn't REALLY matter, but this is more fun than seeing 800 posts of "I want it" or "gibe nao pls."

2. Check back here in about a week when the names of our two winners will be added to the OP (giveaway execution is an art not a science people, so I apologize in advance if winners aren't announced in exactly one week).

3. Check your inbox here on the forum to make sure you didn't miss it. Our winners' usernames will be added to the OP here, so if you have any question about the legitimacy of a congratulatory message regarding this giveaway, please be sure to check back here and see if your name has been added.

And, while this isn't a requirement, feel free to give our friends over at @AMDRadeon on Twitter a follow.

Winners will be PMed from this account on the forum. Please do not consider winner messages from any other user in regards to this giveaway.

This giveaway is worldwide with no age restriction.

Best of luck to all!!
