GPU: R9 290x Lightning @ stock

CPU: AMD FX-8350 @ stock

So... I have no clue what good scores are for Cinebench... are these decent...? lol

EDIT: Ran two more times with the following results (collectively)

OpenGL:

  1. 83.60 fps
  2. 83.66 fps
  3. 82.46 fps

CPU:

  1. 614 cb
  2. 608 cb
  3. 607 cb

And a shot of round 3 with CPU-Z and GPU-Z up:

Cmon man you can't buy a 290X lightning and run stock :P

Those scores seem a bit weak for stock. IIRC my 8320 (which obviously has the lower stock clock) scored around 605.

Lots of SR-2s popping up recently, good effort :)

You might have luck dropping the RAM capacity. Ideally you want to be able to run ~2000MHz at CAS7 on 1366 but that will depend on what RAM you have :P

I've only seen 2 on the forum. Was a pain in the ass to get one for cheap. Apart some stupid hiccups it's a great board for rendering :)

Yeah they're hard to get. I think one guy in the UK owns a few of them TBH :P mind if I ask what you paid?

In the US a lot of them recently went for ~$500 USD.

Haven't had the time to piddle with an overclock :P And I'm curious how much my uptime would affect that score. The computer has been on for about a month now, no restarts.

fresh boots and minimal bloat is best for high scores

I'll get to it as soon as I'm not working on a project for school or work on this machine :P I'll see you in a couple weeks. I'll try a fresh boot and less running in the background after this paper as well :D

I have 32Gb for work. Normally stay at 4.0-4.2 while working and at rendering take it to 4.4. The problem is that after 4.3Ghz only 24 and sometimes even 16Gb of ram are detected :( I'm very happy that ECC 1333mhz can run at 1866mhz

Processor - AMD FX-6300

MoBo - Gigabyte 970A-DS3P

Ram - Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4gb 1866 on CL10

Cooler = Hyper 212x on Push and Pull Config
PSU = Corsair VS450

Scores on Cinebench R15 -

On 4.42Ghz ( My 24x7 OC settings ) = 529

Proof = Screenshot

Ram was clocked at 2230Mhz on CL11

On 4.72ghz = 562

Proof = Screenshot

Ram was clocked at 2258mhz on CL11

Finally the highest I could achieve....

On 4.82ghz = 568

Proof = Screenshot

Ram was clocked at 2248mhz on CL11

I could have achieved better scores on this chip but as you can see, I don't have the best MoBo nor the PSU :P Also I was hitting 70°c on my 4.8ghz so I didn't tried any further OC :)
