this is off on the bay tomorrow and i've bought another one, which is hopefully better :)

also i've got a phenom ii x6 1055T to test tommorrow and a gigabyte 790x ud3p to oc and unlock the sempron with :)

If you were closer I would have no issue sending my Phenom 511 to you to see what could be done with it.

I could only do like 11-12-12-32 on my 2133 kit @ 2400 :(  my dom plat kit was poo for OC'ing. :(

Hopefully my new DDR4 kit will be able to tighten timings a lot. Seen a few people on hwbot with my kit getting crazy timings like 12-13-12-15 and around there (stock is 15-15-15-35)

Speaking of which, once 5820k goes on sale again on amazon I will start binning, I've got the mobo & RAM showing up this week like Thurs/Fri.

well if you go into the bios and change them to from 11-13-13-30 2T to 11-11-11-30 1T that would be a good start :) also set the voltage of the ram to 1.65v

Trying to cut a deal with the silicon lottery guy to see if I can get a 4.7 chip for less, $679 is a bit ridiculous lol.

I'll ask him if I give him a shoutout and include him in my build-log, since it does have 45,000 views after-all.

Dunno where it would get me, but might as well try.

for benching, you can go to 1.5v fine, you might find it doesn't scale very well though. i put 1.6v through mine on air :P

1.35v is ok for daily use, but you wont want to run it at 1.5+v for too long. its best just to get the score take the screeshot and then, boot back in at normal speed to upload and submit your score. :)

ok maybe they were a bit too tight. try 11-12-12-30 2T to start with.

i didn't see you only had a h81 board. 1.5v might not have been a great idea anyway :P

I'm coming into a conclusion, or my ram isn't good with less timing, or the problem is with me changing, 11-12-12-30-2T works until i get the desktop area, after that, error and reboot...

Well, with 11-13-12-30-2T, until now, its ok. With this small change in professional programs, will have difference? Because, with bench, will be tinny i think.

it will be a very small difference, but a difference no the less. try 11-13-12-30 1T now. :) also run cinebench again, you need 2cb more to get 1200 :D
