Not really I can't be bothered for that.

 

I would love a 4790K to play with but right now the budget does not allow for such things :(

the i7's are so overpriced and the quad cores don't have a very good price to performance any more. the 5820K is much better value or even a second hand 3930k, they good pretty cheap now :)

Well Jumper, finally, i7 3930k 4.8(Vcore 1.4), Memory 2400(11-13-12-30-1T)

 

I expected more from my score, weird, i'll run again later anyway...

those ram timings are much better. try opening task manager and setting cinebench to high priority. that should get you a few more points.

This or do a fresh install of 7? I did that on my laptop and in Cinebench R11.5 it was only scoring 1.4 CB and once I cleaned and did a fresh install it was scoring 1.82

that is a huge difference. won't think it would make as much difference on a 3930K though

Yeah, I mean even with the same fresh 7 install with my normal softwear I'm scoring about 1.79-1.8cb on it now.

edit ; pretty sure this overclock just ruined my cpu got a watchdog clock error ,then i got suck in a boot loop , then reset overclocks with clearing cmos. took me 20 min to make it boot .... fml lol , time to upgrade to a 5820k :D

it was amazing it even booted , my ram was the most unstable part , took me 40 min to get that sorted 

 

temps weren't even too big of a problem even tho im using a shit 120mm aio lololol
