If you have the extra money, what would you do?

Hi,

i have the extra money to spend on my computer, its a new build, but i am wondering where to spend the extra money, current build is

i7 - 6700K

Corsair H115i

Asus Maximus VIII Formula

16 GB Corsair Dominator 2X8 3200 Mhz

265GB M.2 Samsung 950 Pro

512GB Samsung Pro 850 Pro

Evga 1080 GTX FTW (waiting for prices to normalize)

Corsair AX 1200i

My thought are the following:

1.  Push the Rams to 32 GB

2. GO SLI with 2 EVGA 1080 FTW

3. Change monitor from Samsung 4K 28" to a G-Sync monitor like Benq 24" or 28" with 1080p or 1440p

Thx

I'd go for the monitor upgrade to ultrawide 3440x1440.

It's easier to drive than 4K, and offers a more immersive experience that a single 1080 can drive

Snorlax: i7 5820k @4.5ghz, Asus X99 Pro, 32gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666, Cryorig R1 Ultimate, Samsung 850 evo 500gb, Asus GTX 1080 ROG Strix, Corsair RM850x, NZXT H440, Hue+

Smallsnor: Huawei Matebook X

Canon AE-1 w/ 50mm f/1.8 lens

Pentax KM w/ 55mm f/1.8 SMC lens

Zenit-E w/ 58mm f/2 Helios lens

Panasonic G7 with 14-42mm f/3.5 lens

Polaroid Spectra System

This is of course personal, but if you have 1 monitor now I would get another monitor. Or go for the 32GB RAM, but that's because I would probably be able to use it.

i dont think i'll feel comfy with the ultra wide monitor ... i already fell that the 28" is too big in my face, thats why i am thinking for the 24"

Additional Rams is always welcomed of course

i have a decent amount :)

Because SLI is a bitch.

no. one 1080 is powerful enough. and your planned upgrades are useless. get an ultrawide monitor or a 144hz 1440p monitor. 32gb is not needed.

"Sulit" (adj.) something that is worth it
