How to Handle Summer Heat?

So summer heat is finally starting to kick in and my room is the hottest in the house. I was wondering does anyone in the community have any ingenious ways to deal with the heat besides cranking up your fans (not talking about computer fans btw)?

sit in front of my air conditioner. but seriously, just wet a towel, snap it a few times, so it's not soaking wet, and just feel that nice coldness down.

If it's dry heat, a fan is good enough.

AC, fans (probably not recommended since it will mostly blows hot wind to your face), or use a wet and cold towel to wash your face

 

I mostly use AC when sleeping, or when playing games since my PC gets hot really quickly in the summer heat

The hottest it gets where I live is about 85F. So a fan is all I need to stay chilly.

Actually I've done that before - places with a huge walk-in freezer are great in the summer.  But I doubt OP's going to be able to install that in their room ;)

Dry heat I can handle but add humidity and nope! I usually have a windows fan to exhaust the air and another to circulate. But when it gets too hot I pop in my potable AC unit. Also drink lots of water

I usually just use AC if it gets really hot.

 

Right now it's not too bad where I am, it's like 78°F with rather low humidity considering it rained last night.

Just go outside, whenever it's too hot for me, I just go to the Library where it's air conditioned.

Get new windows if you have aluminum windows, vinyl windows are great.

 

But an air conditioner is a much better idea. 

Or if its breezy outside you can do that, I know this is super extreme but it might work.

Thanks for all the suggestions, today ended up being 103 degrees Fahrenheit with 52% humidity. I ended up going shirtless while gaming but then stopped because my chair was getting wet from all the sweat and just ended up chilling downstairs (which is cooler than my room). I also found out why my room is so damn hot, it's because it's right above the garage (you know, hot air rises so all the hot air from there is going into my room)!

 

Note: Maybe I might bring daily updates on temps if anyone is interested, and if anyone wants to they can share their summer heat struggles here too. :)
