Is that it? The Mac Pros are horrible by todays standard. $600 for DDR3, really apple? No 17inch mac book pros? What a load of nothing. OP can you link what the 10 new features are

yeah, i say that swift playground is cool but not something i would personally use, it's just cool to have something like that for those who actually wanna learn some coding without depending on schools on online courses, that's how started to play the guitar with Garageband guitar courses and it was great, still is. Frankly  i would have loved just the Xcode code editor for iOS that syncs up with Xcode on your Mac when you want to compile it. That would have made my day instantly!

It'll be weird calling OS X, macOS now. But I do think that it was time for them to move on from OS X. I wonder if it'll go by 10.x or if it'll be like 11.x now.

Many of their products are indeed due for a refresh. I'm currently waiting on the new MBA to decide whether or not I want upgrade.

From what I understand this entire conference wasn't on hardware.  They'll probably have one in three or four months from now to showcase all their new stuff from iMac's, Mac Pro's, laptops, etc.  I'm hoping for OLED on all their stuff and more NVME across the board.  If only their software support was larger.  I really want to get off windows fully.

Overall, I was left with a very positive impression. Apple are doing all the right things with their software, new SDKs for devs, overhauls of the way you interact with apple devices and some neat new features - everything seemed well designed to get you faster into what you need and make more information available to you

 

Now we just need all new hardware an I will be even more stoked
