*HELP* Why do my desktop icons move every time i restart my pc

with my ocd like thinking i always organize my desktop icons and not when i restart my pc they are in some totally random order. any ideas?

they probably are not sorted

My computer does the same recently. I've never had this problem before and it just started happening.

I believe he's like me in which its clustered or sorted by use rather than sorted by common factors

 

I had this problem awhile back, I'm not entirely sure what to do though. 

 

Are you sure you turned off the auto arrange?

Do you use more than one screen or switch displays? 

What are your graphic settings?

Do you have afterburner set to rest your display when you apply an overclock?

I'd check too see if your graphics driver is messed up. Crashy drivers have done it to me.
