Do you need more ram? honestly most people dont need more than 16gb, but depends what exactly you do

SSD is essential IMO, have nearly 2tb of it inside my PC now

for x99, get 4 quad channel rams if you're doing cpu intensive tasks

be it 4x4gb or 4x8gb

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I guess if your going to be doing ALOT of video editing with big projects, go with the 32GB

Just some YouTube video editing, streaming, gaming, heavy multitasking but not HUGE, EXTREME, MAGNIFICENT projects.

I'm working on a video about this right now and 16 gb is 122% the speed of 8. So I think that 32 gb of ram may just be worth it for video editing

i recommend 16gb ram + 500gb SSD, since you're working on videos you might as well store them in the ssd, fast access

can always add another 4 dimms to make it 32gb later

Helps with large projects, decreases load times, helps with skimming.

Its automatic, just press this button!

I was testing render speeds. But it will most likely help in other places too. My next purchase in another 16 gb ram so I can have 32.

Someone told me that its not an option to add another 16later, because you can have some issues, if you know what i mean.

I'd get the SSD over the RAM. Another 16 gigs of Ram is a cheaper upgrade a few months from now than another SSD will be.

[CPU: 4.7ghz I5 6600k] [MBAsus Z170 Pro G] [RAM: G.Skill 2400 16GB(2x8)]

[GPU: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 970] [PSU: XFX Pro 850W] [Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo]
[Storage: 500GB WD HDD / 128GB SanDisk SSD ] [Case: DeepCool Tessaract]

No i mean you can have something like maching issues like when you buy 'X' model of ram at 16GB now, then you have to find exact same model or something later..... and sometimes even when its exact same model it still have issues, they told me.
