all apple knows how to design anymore is iPhones (the iPad is a big iPhone, the MacBook is a folding iPhone, and the iMac looks like it did 10 years ago,) and that looks like a big iPhone balloon, so I believe they'd make that.

You all realize that this design is an outsiders vision of what the Apple Car looks like, right? That's why it looks awful, its essentially a spoof of Apple's designs for mobile devices. They're not going to make their car look like an iPhone. This is news like I drew a stick figure in MS Paint is news.

What's sad about this is even if it ends up like that it will still outsell everything else and make Apple billions of dollars.

 

Its an Apple car, at this point Tim Cook could take a shit on a plate and sell it as the Idinner and people would still lap it up.

It's what some random dude envisions what the Apple car would look like, judging by the recent Apple concepts it's probably wrong.

 

When we get a positive Apple post it disappears from the main page within days, but when we get a bloody concept people think its the real deal and start the Apple bashing. I'm done with this forum.

It is what they THINK it will look like, drawn by one of THEIR designers, this is not a design by apple, it's just a possible design, read the link a bit and they even say it.

You don't even have to read the article, just look at the picture subtitles, the designer is a team from Motor Trend having a design discussion with a kid that graduated from art school last year. Here's his LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gldebry

 

This is not a Apple design, it is Motor Trends concept of an Apple concept. With a kid a less than a year out of design school doing the interpretation. It's a fluff piece and a portfolio builder for a kid (which may end up murdering his portfolio, because this thing is ugly and nowhere near what Apple will actually put out.)

I know it's design by someone else and not Apple themselves. The actual car, its interior will have nothing on the dash board except for a single usb type c connector. xD
