Sad news!

Just thought I'd throw that out there. Had no idea he'd escaped Nazi Hungary and then moved on to found such an influential company. What an amazing bredth of things to witness in a lifetime.

There still isn't a proper rating for things like this.  somehow "funny" or "thumbs up" just doesn't seem appropriate...

very sad news indeed :(. But he seemed to have lived a long (mostly) good life.

There is "informative" which is appropriate for the topic and funny is for OP's comment about Hungary. 

Thumbs up could be for the co-founder success (moving out of this country to follow his dreams etc.).

 

I would love to see a sad face to represent sadness which would fit this matter the best and can easily be applied to other topics too. @Slick

He was definitely a great and brilliant man. Sad that he passed away. At least he didn't have to live to see what a shit hole his country will most likely become after this upcoming election. May the force be with you!

Well it is informative, but that feels like its lacking something.

Well he didn't get to see if Zen would be a killer product.

Then again he saw both the Athlon days and the Bulldozer days so he's seen AMD fail and succeed already.

Plus since he's an Intel guy maybe he doesn't really care about Zen.
