Shadowplay bitrate inconsistency?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if other people have this problem as well...

Basically, I have Shadowplay set to record 60fps at 80 mbps but the video files that I output is showing only about 35~39 mbps? It doesn't matter if I start the recording manually or if I use the "save last 5 minutes" function. Is there a way that I can fix this so i can record at the bitrate I set it to? Thanks.

EDIT: It seems like that the problem was not as prominent with my old GTX 750 Ti (I am using GTX 970 currently) as it seemed to hit the 50 mbps mark much closer than the GTX 970 was hitting its target.

I didnt know shadowplay could do 80Mbps...

Maybe cause youre using a 900 series GPU?

My 770 can only do 50Mbps max

The files are about 40Mbps output

Yes, with the 900 series you can record up to 130 mbps. I have it set to 80 but it's hardly even going close to 50 mbps
