The Line Outside the NYC Apple Store is Already Forming – Really???

The rumored release date of the new Iphone has lines already forming outside Apple stores.The new iPhone 5s is expected to be announced on the 10th but is rumored to be coming to retail on the 20th.

 

 

A customer in line was asked for some of his opinions on the new iPhone:

 

 

“We think the new iPhone will be available on September 20 … that’s our speculation, since it’s usually out on the Friday after the introduction. So we think we’ll be out here for about two weeks,” Murphy said. 

 

“I for sure thought we’d be first, no question,” Murphy said. “But there were two people who arrived last night … they’ve apparently done this for three years.” Yes, this is the world we live in.

 

Murphy added, “We’re sleeping on the buddy system for safety.” That’s probably wise considering all the low tech campers around, who might want to upgrade from their played out “salvaged blanket and failing social safety net” technology.

 

 

 To me this just seems ridiculous. Apple has always released a new phone every year and the hype for the new iPhone is always the same. Is no one getting tired of Apple's yearly releases? 

 

 

What do you guy think of this? Do you feel it's ridiculous to line up this early for a new iPhone?

They're all waiting for a phone which will probably be only 15% faster than the previous one and it has features useless to most people.
