You do realize not all torrents are pirated stuff. They just use it as it is easiest and least traceable I guess

You'd think on a tech forum people would realize that BitTorrent is a file sharing protocol and isn't something that is inherently evil. Sure it can be used for illicit means but then so can pretty much anything else created by humanity...

Do you people give each other the third degree when they ask what DVD burner is best also [emoji57]

Of course i realise, but he was talking about piracy and so on and i just said that those things are not allowed in this forum, never said he was a pirate

He never said anything about piracy...you and that other guy just jumped the gun and went straight to piracy.

He just asked what our opinions on the best and safest client was since there can be a lot of crapware with them.

He actually specifically stated he wants it to download other things than pirated material, apparently it's hard for you to grasp the fact that there is a legitimate use for the BitTorrent protocol so let me give you an example.

Just last night I chose to download the torrent for Valley Benchmark so I didn't have to wait 30 minutes for it to download from their local server. People out there understand the benefits of releasing a torrent of their files as that takes a lot of load off their local server and mirrors.

I would not use Tixati. The latest version of Deluge is always a safe bet and uTorrent 2.2.1.
