Im pretty sure if YOU had the hardware you wouldnt say the same thing

First, 30 FPS already annoys the shit out of me when watching gameplay videos on youtube, needless to say that I would refuse to play at that refresh rate.

Second, noone on earth has the hardware to push 12k at 60 FPS in any non source engine first person shooter.

Third, so the only thing you can play at that resolution with 60 FPS, are racing games, that look ugly anyways, and even more when you stretch all the textures to 4K

And last but not least, as a owner of dual 780s, which is the maximum performance you can get with a 11xx platform, I do own 2.5k displays and I still prefer playing on a 1080p 120Hz monitor with LightBoost to eliminate motion blur and get the most fluid experience possible. As 1080p is still the standard for AAA games, BF4 wont look better stretched to 2.5k or even 4k.

Back to the video: You can even see the massive motion blur between frames IN THE FRIGGIN THUMBNAIL. What is this? So half of the images per second are actually calculated and the other half is pixel switching time and the players fantasy. AWESOME !!!

Yeah this was posted around the time ASUS released their 31.5" 4K monitors and it was definitely posted, possibly multiple times...

Nvidia GRID can.

You can have more than 2 780's in sli.

These are all 1150 mobos that support quad sli:

not to mention that if you are dropping near 12 grand on monitors it's not out of the question to think you can probably afford an x79 platform and quad titans.

well I wrote, what I wrote because I assumed that everyone knows following.

missing bandwidth and latencies with plx chips, thats what limits a 11xx platform to two graphics cards to me.

'To you'

Graphics cards don't fully saturate the bandwidth.

Whether it does or not it does 'to you' doesn't change the fact. It's not a matter of opinion.

right. schould not have written those two words. as a matter of fact: more than two graphics cards on a consumer grade platform is highly inefficient and makes no sense
