Crossfire on LGA 1155?

Is that possible? .w. I wanted to know because of wanting possible crossfire with my i5 3570k.. Is there a motherboard supporting dis? 3:

yes, a motherboard with two PCIe x16 slots will almost always support it

 

but why are you doing crossfire?

do you have two fury Xs or something?

You can but it will run at PCIe x8 rather than x16. Though this is unlikely to effect performance.

Most ATX/MATX 1155 boards would be fine for this

Any mobo with two pcie 16x slots supports crossfire, unlike nvidia sli, which requires a bios key fron nvidia.

yes they cant

but that means its a lower end card

and instead of buying lower end cards you should buy one high end one

 

so the only case you should crossfire is when you already have the top-of-the-line card and cant get any more performance, so you add a second

 

if you dont have a fury X, then dont crossfire, just buy a better card
