There are talks of a round 5 in the future. Good choice by the way.

 

EDIT: Forgot about this, rumor has it Zambumon might do another round of GMK Olivia so watch out for that as well.

300$ for a tray mounted board? why tho? You can get gasket mounted cases + plate + pcbs for sub 200. GMK Olivia R2 is almost guaranteed to run.

only 200? Many Kustoms (Korean-Custom or highend boards in general) can go into the thousands now. OTDS and TGRs are 2k+ usd. Keycults, Duck, LZ and many other kustoms or highend boards will sell for thousands aftermarket.

I can confirm this. I just saw a TGR Alice sell for the asking price of $2500 on r/mechmarket.

pcb, hot swap sockets, smd diodes, smd leds, plates, oleds, oled covers, and mcus purchased from keyhive. 

 

right half oled displays the corne logo atm, left half dispalys key presses and layer state

Always wanted to try Topre but I did't like how the HHKB sounded from videos I've seen of it. Perhaps not the fault of the switch though. I wish there were custom Topre kits I could put together.

That was my main reason for avoiding it. After building one, I prefer doing that to buying pre-builts these days.

Yeah' I really like the 5x12 ortho format. Mostly because it doesn't have any stabilizers on it. Stabs are such a chore to get right, I'd rather not deal with them.  But it being 3 rows shorter yet having almost the same amount of keys as a 60% is a nice aspect too.
