it's always been this price, even lower at points. And it's not worth it I hear

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I own one, DONT BUY IT. It crashes every 10 minutes. its a horrible headset. Sound quality is perfect. But ....... everything else sucks so hard. I dropped it once the microphone broke off. Anyways.

Im getting this expierence of this:
Annoying sounds, If anyone calls me the headset shuts down instantly.

Default charge cable aint even enough to run plug and play.

Horrible battery, Died so freaking fast

Software keeps plugging and unplugging the usb.

Just imagine... You are in the middle of a csgo match planting the bomb and the headset shuts down instantly. you need to get your hand to that fucking power button and turn it on back... while turning it on you`re getting headshotted, Yes that pisses you fucking off.

Don't buy it its freaking horrible.

I thought I had a defective unit..... Mine turns off randomly as well.  I thought it was dead battery, but it does this on a full charge.  I got mine for like 50bucks and I don't think its worth it at that price.

Does it involve bashing it against concrete until it no longer resembles a headset?

If you are still dealing with the constant disconnecting/reconnecting, I tried a lot of different things to get mine working properly, most found on one page from the Logitech forums( https://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-G-Headsets/G930-sound-cutting-out/td-p/470957/page/7 ).  I tried several USB ports, using the "extender" in the charging cable, reg_edits, and eventually had success after I changed the channel on my router.  It is completely ridiculous that a consumer should have to do things like this to get an expensive headset working correctly.

Also had similar problems. I returned the first headset and then discovered same issue with the 2nd headset. I finally found relief. Here's the remedy gleaned from another forum (not Logitech):

"Step 1; rechannel your wireless router from channel 6 to channel one or eleven. The middle bandwith notch for 2.4 Mhz is channel 6.

Step 2; Assumed that wireless setting for G930 would be in the registry: assumed correctly. Enter regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logitech\G930. There are strings of "bandxgainlevel (where x = 1-10). Band6gain should be reset to 0. It is currently set on some other value. Band5gain should be set to 1. It, also is set to some other value. This must be done after you uninstall the software and driver for the G930, otherwise the registry will simply reset itself."

Just get a HyperX cloud II or Sennheiser 598 or Audio technica m50x or m40x.

Most gaming headsets are garbage.

honestly I don't know, I have not gone back and checked since it is working.

I did the reg edit and changed my router channel in the same step without seeing if one had any effect before doing the next.

I am using the Logitech software now, with no real issues. Using version: 8.74
