Go get glasses that suit your face, get contacts, check and see if you're a candidate for laser corrective surgery. Live with being blind if you're so worried about looks that you can't wear glasses.

I would just try on different glasses. Remember it's the lenses that do all the work. Find a decent pair that you like then get the right lenses - different styles suit different face types/ / people; i'd search around and find a pair for you.

This.

You could probably get glasses that have the same lenses as your mom's does.

Before I got glasses I thought the same - that it would look stupid and that I shouldn't wear them.
Now that I have them I get a lot of compliments for wearing them. Glasses can look surpisingly good and make you also look smarter. ;)

Hell, some people don't look any different with glasses on. While I don't actually wear glasses, I've worn some prescription glasses before and I didn't look any different :P

I feel sorry for all of you peoples that have to wear glasses, why am I the one who has almost perfect vision

You need lenses that actually work with *your* eyesight. They don't magically correct it if they aren't prescribed just for you.

(Yes, I wear glasses. I don't have them on in my profile picture because I believe I look better without them.)

Sig under construction.

It's not a problem for me to wear glasses.

The only thing that sucks is when I go out to play Airsoft. I had to get some special glasses made for me.
