1440p is like 50% more pixels than 1080p. You know how much real estate that is?! Well I don't, but you could find out by getting that Acer monitor :)

How about demotivation to balance things out? xD

I think you'll want 27" to enjoy 1440p more. Im not sure with 25" but with 22" 1440p i think there'll be no visual difference in 1080p.

25'' a tad too small for 1440p

This is the cheapest 1440p i would recommend:

I prefer 27" 1440p monitors, personally. But it's certainly better than 1080p.

sooooooo much nicer than 1080p

especially if it's IPS.

Have a look at some korean monitors.

its more the scaling, where things can appear smaller and harder to read, but it should be ok :D, I sit pretty close to my 27"

I just think 27" is THE perfect monitor size, and is perfect for 1440p

but hey it should still be a great monitor and very sharp, MILES better than anything 1080p

There is a massive difference, its almost double the pixels

i would love mine to be 28'' or 30''...i find 27'' 1440p a bit on the small side..some text can be harder to read sometimes.

Yea number wise there's a difference that's why I said visual difference because 22" 1080p is dense enough.. Im not sure if you can still observe difference by going 1440. Though if you have 27" for sure you can see the clarity of 1440 vs 1080.

Please dont say the icons on 1440 becomes smaller.  :(

Yea they do. I said that as sarcasm because others might say that the difference of going 1440 the icons will become smaller. People buy 1440p for pixel density. To get less pixelation not to get small icons. :) v

25'' is the smallest available PC monitors with 1440p resolution...smaller than that you wouldnt be able to see anything and would require the use a windows scaller which is complete garbage and most people find themselve having to use it even at 25''.

And yes icons are smaller, text is smaller etc...27'' 1440p has the same DPI as a 22' 1080p monitor, so...a bit small.

Being used to 24'' 1080p...when i moved to 27'' 1440p i've found everything to be a bit smaller on the screen which anoyed me at first but i got used to...i wouldn't be able to deal with 25'' 1440p though.

Well yeah, but thats why I think getting a larger monitor makes sense when working with higher pixel density

24" 1080p = 92 ppi

27" 1440p = 108ppi

so its still substantially sharper, and 1080p above 24" is literally horrible

I just think there can be scaling issues on 25", considering sometimes on 27" text can be too small to read - I normally browse the web at like 125% or more

But yes, if ALL you care about is density then 25" 1440p is immensely sharp,
