Just to be clear, You already have a case and the 980 ti plus a monitor. So, we don't need to include that into our pricing? Do we need to include a keyboard and mouse into the price?

Also, what is the case. We need to know what kind of mother board we can choose.

It will, but not by a significant amount for most games, and not even at all in some.

All CPUs bottleneck high-end GPUs to some degree. Just one of those things.

Here is a White and Black build I came up with @Sunnysenpai

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DTDb3C
Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DTDb3C/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($209.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($19.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Patriot Viper 3 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory  ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($51.00 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($39.10 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: Raidmax Vampire 700W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $540.05
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Comments:

  • The PSU is only 40 bucks with a mail and rebate from Newegg. IDK where you live though so hopefully USA. I suggest you take advantage of it NOW. It's 80+ Gold Certified, 700 watts, Semi modular and white
  • I didn't include any sound card, amp/dac, wireless adaptor, or  keyboard and mouse.
  • If you need to cut some cost out of the build you can do 8gb of Ram instead of 16gb. You can take out the SSD if you don't think you need the speed and buy one later.

Tell us what color your case is just in case a white build wont work well. If your case is read I'd recommend different parts.
