What is your GOTY 2015?

ManOfDisguise

Hey guys I'm interested as to what is to you the best game of 2015 and also maybe state why. Or you can just say your favorite, doesn't have to be "technically best".

I honestly can't say for myself as I didn't buy many games this year at all(Fallout,RL and some others) and spent most of my gaming time playing LoL.

However I do know that for most people the top 3 this year is Fallout 4,Witcher 3 and MGS V.

I'm liking Fallout 4, it's my first Fallout game, I did expect more from the quests and story but the roaming and looting + settlement building is fun enough to keep me entertained for a lot of hours.

I won't say it's GOTY though as I haven't played most of the other good games of 2015 so I'm just interested as to what you guys choose.

Specs of my PC:

CPU: AMD FX 8350  Motherboard: Gigabyte 990XA UD3  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 2GB  HDD: WD Green 2TB SSD:  Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD RAM: Corsair 8GB(2X4) PSU: CoolerMaster G650M

Make a poll. Mine is stuck between fallout 4 and witcher 3.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

Make a poll. Mine is stuck between fallout 4 and witcher 3.

I thought of making it a poll but putting only the 3 games I mentioned would be unfair and there are always those people who love the games that a lot of people haven't even heard of. I would want to either include everything in the poll or nothing so no games feel left out

Black Ops 3.

Really enjoying MP so far.

Haven't had most of the performance problems a lot have had.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

The Witcher 3. Proper PC version. Amazing graphics, characters, story. Never have I seen such believable characters in a game before. Sure, they are taken from The Witcher novels, but they are well made visually, they got great voice acting, interesting dialogues and they are well incorporated into the story. I liked how some characters would differently react and respond, depending on your choices. That happens even later in the game, far after you make a choice. Like depending on your love choice, a female character will talk to you differently. If you tell Yennefer you love her, she'll be nice to you even when she's angry. If not, she'll say the same sentence with an angry tone to it. One time she teleported me to a lake lol. Also one time when she was hurt and if my first reaction wasn't asking her if she's fine, she'd point it out. Really interesting.

Usually games are gameplay oriented, and characters, story and voice acting are meh. But The Witcher 3 is about the atmosphere and rich storyline. I like how a lot of things aren't the way they appear at first. And your choices actually matter. People can die if you make the wrong choices. And some choices are not really good or bad, it depends on your point of view.

The game has superb soundtrack. The attention to detail is astounding.

Also, Gwent. You know, the card game in TW3. It doesn't have a great deal of depth and much replay value, but it's surprising and impressive how much

thought and work they put into a game inside a game. Loved it and became a Gwent master according to a steam achievement :).

It's made by developers who listen to gamers. People were complainig about Geralt's movement. When you're trying to turn left or right it was like you're turning a bus or a boat,

that's how big the turning radius was. And they actually fixed it. In fact, they gave you the option to choose the new or the old movement system. People also complained about excessive tessellation with GW, and they added the option to reduce it.

i7 9700K @ 5 GHz, ASUS DUAL RTX 3070 (OC), Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI, 2x8 HyperX Predator 3200 MHz
