Hands-on: $1,500 Tag Heuer Android Wear smartwatch

itsmefurqan

"Tag Heuer has teamed up with Google and Intel to launch the Connected Watch, its first Android Wear timepiece. The Connected isn't just any average Android Wear watch, however. It's a $1,500 luxury timepiece clad in titanium and bearing more than a passing resemblance to Tag Heuer's analog watches."

It looks good but for $1500 I think I'll stick to a real Tag Heuer.

For a Tag Heuer watch $1,500 is really cheap. But for a smart watch, it is too expensive.

Doesn't look better than the Huawei watch.

And probably has a similar BOM cost, yet the Huawei is $1100 less.

Let the iDiots have products like these, I doubt Android has a big niche of more-money-than-brain-cells people.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

This, or the Gear S2 Classic... regardless of price I like the later better.

Looks cheap in my opinion, now I haven't seen it in person, but compared to the Moto 360 the display and body looks cheap. Not what I would expect by a entry-level luxury company like TAG.

I still don't get the point of any smart watch beyond 500 dollars, it's going to get obsolete soon.

That band is hideous. Give me that watch face but with a nice stainless band.

Looks like there's a significant amount of backlight bleed. Looks ugly. Should have used OLED instead. Imagine if you can download a totally different watch face everyday. Today TG brand, tomorrow B&R, next Maurice Lacroix. LOL

Those coloured wrist bands are so tacky! The only one that looked half decent was the black and even then for $1500 i would of expected something better than rubber.

B&R can easily fit a 3 day battery in their watches especially the 46mm. But knowing B&R it'll probably be more than $3000.
