We all like some sort of smell, especially when we wear it ourselves. I personally love this stuff.

Imagine constantly smelling like you just got out of the shower. That's what that smells like.

What, if anything, do you wear?

I don't really sweat

so i don't really use it often or at all.

Same but I do use Deodorant...

I use Dove Clean Comfort, I'm not a huge fan of the strong stuff like Axe or Oldspice.

Only thing I dislike about gels is they feel super cold at first but that only last like a minute.

Gel's are super useless for me.

I usually use old spice or a sporty brand depending on the time of day and how long the day is. I wear cologne so scent doesn't really matter.

Usually Old Spice Fresh or Clasic. I get the antiperspirant + deodorant.

FYI: Get the white powder like deodorant. The gel stuff will stain clothes.

Female deodorant sucks hard. Either it is smells too strong, just smells in general or clumps up or opens for the first time all dried up so it is unusable. No matter how high priced, they suck. However, this stuff is great and smells really nice without being too strong and it is all natural and healthy for you:

I don't use antiperspirant, because it accumulates in the brain (the aluminum) and it is very unhealthy. I don't see how anyone would think clogging your pores with aluminum salts to stop a natural and healthy body function is okay to do...

...sorry if this thread was intended only for you stinky men. :P

Felt like replying to actually let you know that what you're saying is true, and to let everyone else know as well. I did an report for one of my health classes in college in specific to metals and the link to alzheimer's. Heavy metals do accumulate in the brain overtime and have an correlation to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of nurological diseases:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3056430/

Its fairly controversial, but from my research, I remember that the transfusion of aluminum from deodorant into the bloodstream had little impact. Most of the metal accumulation was from drinking water and by means of dietary intake.

I try to tell people all the time. They just think I'm a conspiracy theorist.

Oh, cool, did you also do research on the aluminum from antiperspirant? Deodorant does have little impact on the body, so I would definitely suggest it instead of antiperspirant, but unfortunately most people would rather not sweat at all, even if their health is at risk.

Yes our research included antiperspirants. They had little impact on aluminum buildup in the brain. Most of it was due to mineral deposits in drinking water and from food items, or medicines: Ie:

Copper: seafood, kale, mushrooms and red meats
Iron: red meats, poultry, seafood, spinach, vitamin supplaments
Aluminum: cheese, flour, baking powder, and aspirin

Baking powder, vitamin supplements, and aspirin are the main culprits. Inorganic sources of heavy metals are the most dangerous via consumption. The heavy metals aren't the direct cause of AD and neurological diseases though. It's actually Amyloid-beta protein. The protein builds up in the brain when there is excess metals in the free blood pool. The normal removal of these proteins happens when we sleep, but metals can inhibit that process. Metals casue Amyloid-beta protein to stick together in plaques in the brain:

dem-plaque-tangle.jpg

EDIT: As long as you aren't exceeding the Dietary Reference Intakes or Upper Limit of those metals, you should be fine.
