Still using Win 7, do i need to upgrade to 10?.

You should upgrade as soon microsoft will stop sending updates to win7 and win10 isn't that bad. Its really good + its for free.

Imo no need to upgrade,win 7 is already fine,has great features you can mod games wighout much dificulty,go into drives and have more customization

You can do all that in Windows 10

realistically, w7 will also get updates for the lifetime of any pc as well.

Well, you are right, but with Windows 10, you get new features and upgrades, but Windows 7 only gets security updates as of earlier this year.

well.. i'd suggest waiting at least 2 more months.

 

windows 10 has proved to be a tad rough in its early release stages (just like any recent version of windows was) so i'd give it about 6 months at least after release.

Do you need to? No. There are some benefits to Windows 10, but very few things at this point that would actually force an upgrade.

 

My experience is that as long as you've kept track of all of your devices and made sure they have proper Windows 10 drivers, and (ideally) you do a clean install, then there is very little to fear. As someone who stuck with Windows 7 for five years, I find Windows 10 to be superior.

 

Keep in mind that the free upgrade period lasts for an entire year after Windows 10's launch, so you've got until next August to mull over the free upgrade before you have to pay. If you're worried about it, take advantage of that time.
