Games that were good but you never want to play again?

What are some games that you legitimately enjoyed, but after you finished them you said to yourself "Yeah... never playing that again"?

 

A few that I can think of are Half-life 2, Resident Evil 5, Bravely Default, Viewtiful Joe, Metroid Prime 2, Borderlands 1 and 2, and Betrayer. All these games are good games, but not good enough to warrant dealing with their flaws/length again.

I can't think of a reason I wouldn't play a game again that I thoroughly enjoyed. If I enjoy it then I am more likely to play it again.

Oh man, I purposefully played Half Life 2 again just to get the Gnome achievement.. LOVE the HL games.  

 

If I play a game all the way though I will most likely play it again at some point, it's games that I play and then fed up of as they drag....

I agree, you start the game as a 20 something college kid who never held a gun in their life and within 10 minutes of gameplay your John Rambo. Lol 

 

Being so fed up with the gameplay also put me off buying FarCry 4 as well

Bastion, Ori and the Blind Forest, Bioshock Infinite and so on... pretty much any single player which I've completed.

I sometimes replay a game just because it unlocked a hardcore mode(for example Crysis 3).

 

But I usually never touch single player games again after completing them.

Not because I don't want to, but simply because I have soooo many games to play and such a short life to live, and I want to catch 'em all!

Most open world games that I have completed, i spent enough time in them, that I dont see a reason to go back

I have recently just completed Fallout 3 and starting NV again, but I am just quickly doing the main quests tbh, and its not as good as when first playing them

I rarely go back and replay games, (except for Metal Gear Solid which gets a yearly run)

Bioshock: Infinite - I played through it once and thought it was great, but when I recently went to play through it again, I just couldn't be bothered. 

 

Battlefield 4/3 - The single player of these games has no replay value IMO. Multiplayer is awesome fun though.

Usually good games I replay but the ones that are VERY long and don't really offer branching paths or choices that make a difference get skipped by me. Such games are:

-Skyrim
-Black Mesa
-Dungeon Siege 3
-any other game that offers no-replay value or is ungodly long - I might replay Witcher 3 at some point but not now.

The director's cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the whole Missing Link thing just kills me every time.  Losing all the augs doesn't add anything to the game, it just makes me spend more time hiding places and waiting for my power cells to recharge so I can stealth my way over to the next vent or try multiple times on hacking things.  

 

Next time the original version goes on sale I'm buying that to skip the whole Rifleman Bank Station thing.

Any story mode in a game. Sorry I don't like being constricted. They are fun but I would much rather play GTA V online rather then GTA V story mode
