The 7900GRE is way better than an rtx 3080, and pairing it with 7700 is a very good combo, though getting a 7800X3D is also a good idea, because of its 3D cache

how much are these?

Use case?

budget?

Try and use the template provided

7800X3D would be my pick but it depends on the difference in price. 7900 GRE would be about 15 to 20% better (with a memory OC) than the 3080 so if that's around the same price I'd get that

exactly, so its extremely dependant on what games you play(i love it when people delete the template and put whatever they want) no offense OP just makes it easier, next time

You could also get a 7700, since it runs cooler for about the same performance. And it is cheaper. Paired with a 7900 gre, it would be a pretty good combo. However,  if you are playing CPU intensives, you may want a 7800x3d. Maybe tell us what games you play?
