Lian Li creates the "luggage" PC case

zMeul

This actually looks pretty decent!

I wouldn't use the trolley thing, unless I really decked out the case with hardware.

*Edit, just saw the price. LOL. Not even going to pay over $150 for this thing. $230 is insane. Like the look of it though.

Yeah, but isn't carry-on usually limited to something like 7 kg?

If that is stainless steel then it'll weigh at least 4kg on its own.

Lian li strikes again with overpriced shitty cases.

They didn't even put any sort of shock dampening on the case, rolling this rigid frame around is literally the worst way you could carry a case, and those cheap plastic ones would survive better because they actually have a little bit of flex. Seriously this is one of the most idiotic case designs I've ever seen.

It would literally be safer to carry the damned thing in both arms like a baby than to either use the handle (which for 40-60 pounds looks like a uncomfortable hard plastic) or rolling.

Luggage gets handled frequently. Aluminium is god awful for fingerprints, especially in black. Lian Li, why would you choose this as your gimmick? ;_;

guys use your heads, this is not something to take to the airports (too much of a risk of being stolen, damaged etc) what this is meant is to be an atx case that is portable and rugged enough to take with you,  I could see this in a lot of diffrent scenarios (that does not involve gaming because thats always an obvious)

also luggable doesnt mean luggage it means you can carry it

So they attached some wheels and a couple handles to a PC case?

Why has no one pointed out that this thing will damage your components if you roll it around?

I'd be surprised if they let you on a plane or train with that thing... it somewhat resembles a bomb and you know what happened last time with a clock xD

Until this is approved by the TSA or your local transportation security agency, this is useless for travel. I doubt it'll stand up to turbulence, too.

LOL Fuck airplanes. This case would by definition be worse for traveling than almost every other one on the market in a car as well.

Rigid body = large shock forces = broken components

RIP PC Components. After seeing how they load the luggage into the airplane, I would NEVER want them to touch my computer. (hint hint. Just remember the Toy Story 2 Scene. Imagine that golf bag being your PC.)

  • 4 weeks later...

You guys and your TSA jokes. I figure you did not watch the video. Or you would know who said it first!

Oh no!  I just posted "first" on LTT.  Please don't hurt me.
