What race do play in Skyrim?

For some reason, I feel like I'm the only one who is constantly creating new characters; I'm never happy with the characters that I make. I'll make one, play it up until level 7 or so, then I start to think how cool a mage would be to make. So I go make a mage, realize it's really hard to level up and it's only really good at higher levels. So then I try to make an assassin type of character. I play it, I get bored, then go back to making a warrior.

 

So do you guys have an suggestions on what race I should play? One that's actually fun and doesn't get boring easily.

Nord is fun if you solve all your problems with a greatsword, or you can be a sneaky kitty cat. Really the only race I hate is those alien looking high elves. Death to the Altmer

I think he means like the special stuff that each race has, not how it looks.

Yeah i know what he means but it doesn't really matter what model your character is as the game is going to be more or less the same no matter what, the race you play is more about how you want to see yourself going through the journey.

depends on what im playing as but usually imperial

Right now I'm a Nord, though I've played through as every race but High Elf.

 

Usually go for a stealthy ranged combat style, though I've always got two daggers for close range things. Allows for my favourite execution (@ 4:55).

I've played full games with every race, but the one I've picked most often is wood-elf because I tend to favor long range and stealthy play.
