Best low requirement first person shooter games. Intel HD 3000

Hey! I have a Sony Vaio vpceg15en with an Intel 2310m 2.1 ghz and 6 gb ram and Intel HD 3000 graphics. I want to know about any fps games I can run on it. Low quality most probably. I am not a gamer but since I updated it to Windows 10 I am giving it more thought. If I really like it I might build a gaming or just buy a gaming laptop. I really like fps games. I run call of duty 4 modern warfare on low resolution on an external monitor and keep the laptop under the table on a cooler. Can you guys suggest anything?

try TF2 (its free) and see how that goes. it's a fairly decent benchmark for seeing how well the rest of source engine will run.

CS GO really is the best you can get to a modern FPS game on something so low end. Thats not a knock on the game, it is amazing and can run on almost any computer from the last decade. If you frames aren't high enough with GO, CS Source still has an solid community behind it as well.

Classic 90's FPS like Doom or Quake or HL are also an option.

Here is a good idea of some of the performance you can get

Intel i5 6600k

Powercolor AMD R9 390
