My Experience with Logitech Support

Hi there,

I bought a Logitech G400s this february for $15. A week ago, it's DPI increase button was little mushy and had to press harder to increase the DPI. So created RMA at the Logitech Support center. They asked me the the mouse for replacement. So I gave it to them. Then I asked them to give me the replacement as soon as possible. Next day I received the call from their support regarding the G400s was not in stock and I have to wait for 1 week to get the replacement unit. And also they told me that You can get the G402 if you don't want to wait as it's newer mouse and ready in stock. Then I'm be like "heck yeah". Happily went to their support center today and got the G402. WHAAW, a freeeeee UPGRADE! :) They are really nice enough to give me this. Now really enjoying with this G402 mouse! I totally love it now!!! :D

So how many of you had this kind of experience, like with any other brands?

Yeah, logitech make great mice, I have a g500 some say that the sensor in it has some smoothing problems but I've noticed no issues personally perhaps my was just a later batch. Does the mouse have a endless scroll wheel click button? That's my favourite feature of my logitech mouse.

I'm currently waiting for my RM650i to arrive from corsair, to replace my RM650. Although UPS forgot to attach the RMA number to the package so they'll probably charge me for it...

I am conducting some polls regarding your opinion of large technology companies. I would appreciate your response.

Nearly 70% of my peripherals are Logitech

And one of the reasons is the support

I dropped my mice a couple of times already

You don't have any WALK-IN support center in your place?

Yeah, Logitech stuff is awesome. I have been using their EX-100 keyboard and mouse for probably 7 years. The middle button just went out on my mouse a couple of weeks ago, but can't complain about 7 years of usage. I just replaced it with the G602. And then I have had their Z-2300 powered speaker system since 2006. I was blown away to get something with that good of bass for I think $120.

Logitech stuff are usually on the expensive side, and their driver/software isn't really good. But darn they warranty is superb. It used to be even better, you didn't have to ship anything back before. You just gave some number of the mouse/keyboard, and they went with the manufacture production time frame, and if it's pass that, with the hidden grace period, they ask you to e-mail or fax the bill, and that is all. But as you can imagine, people were taking advantage of this, getting a second mouse for free that way. So now Logitech started to ask for the product back.

I RMAd my K200 keyboard without giving them the older one. They didn't ask for one. It was last year though. Now they actually asked for the G400s.

Same here, though it was an M95 in my case. The K90/M90 is out of production, as far as I know, so the K95 and M95 are what they have on hand.

A friend of mine had an older Logitech gaming mouse (G400S, I think?) that just lost it's right micro-switch mere weeks before its warranty would end. They offered her a G502! The worst part is she's unhappy because she's worried it won't fit her hand.  <_<
