the subreddit does a pretty good job of explaining it:

• Everybody is welcome here, even those that have yet to ascend.
• This is not a satirical or circlejerk subreddit. Nor did it start as one. This is a normal subreddit withtongue-in-cheek and satirical humor elements.
• Owning a console does not necessarily make you a peasant.
• You don't necessarily need a PC to be a member of the PCMR. You just have to recognize that PC is objectively superior to consoles in every way as explained here. It's not about the hardware in your rig, but the software in your heart!

people that get hung up on the master race element of it might be missing the satirical side of it...wore the pcmr shirt to micro center today, not a single cringe, alot of employees asking me where to buy one though
