Oh boy, a political thread..

I think I fell somewhere in the middle, because I just disagree with so many political parties and have weird ideas on how shit should be.

And I don't believe in politics anyways, so doesn't matter

Here's mine from a few months ago, I personally think I'm further left than this, but it's fairly accurate. I tested my dad at the same time and he was as far left as you can get, but more authoritarian than me.

Then retake, also, I got the same order.

I don't really think, that I have much to say about the questions, seeing how I'm not from the US.

But regardless, I redid the test.

In anarchy... there is no voting. mind=blown

That depends on the type of anarchy.

I wonder what one's opinion on modern art has to do with politics.

I went a head and redid the political compass test aswell. Apperantly, I have become more libertarian and more left leaning as time as progressed.

post-5244-0-05445900-1441221636.png

Looks about right even though some questions seemed a bit out of place and others didn't have an answer that really reflected my opinion.

I completly agree. Some the questions are way too broad and general to be answered correctly.

For example: "Multinational companies are unethically exploiting the plant genetic resources of developing countries"

How is anyone supposed to answer that? Some multinational corporations probably are exploiting developing nations, but most probably aren't

I wonder what one's opinion on modern art has to do with politics.

Your opinion on abstract art can actually help in identifying your political stance.

If you subscribe to the Randian objectivistic libertarianism, you will usually also reject the value of abstract art.

This is due to it not representing any objectivly intelligible subject. Therefor it, in the Randian sense, it loses its right to call itself art.

As a re-creation of reality, a work of art has to be representational; its freedom of stylization is limited by the requirement of intelligibility; if it does not present an intelligible subject, it ceases to be art

- The Romantic Manifesto, Page 75

There are most likely plenty of people that still spank their children. It's even legal to do so in the UK, as long as the physical punishment falls under "reasonable punishment" : http://www.lawandparents.co.uk/smacking-children.html

Wtf, the middle ages called, they want their pedagogics back.

This is against the right for bodily integrity. I know that right is not constitutional in the US, but it's a human right and it's constitutional in other countries. For a reason, I daresay.

Also if anyone who is not member of the KKK seriously believes "Our race has many superior qualities, compared with other races.", I'm seriously shocked.

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

That one made me chuckle. I guess spanking is a cultural thing.
