Time will tell. It's possible, but there are phones out there with better specs for less money. We'll have to see how it goes.

No LTE support for EU, no dual-SIM and Mediatek CPU? Nope, Oneplus2, which is not really that great, is still better than this thing.

No it's not Mediatek isn't worth the money yet.  Graphics are usually lacking compared to other chipsets.

mediatek processor, no thanks.

It does seem to be the best mediatek processor out at the moment at least, which it does apparently have a better multithreaded score than the 810. Don't know how well the graphics would be though.

That is not the problem, the problem is that there are no custom ROMs for MediaTek based phones.

4 questions/issues:

1. Not every Octa-core is the same. How does this compare to the latest Snapdragon 808/810?

2. No front facing speakers, too bad.

3. Runs (close to) stock Android if I'm correct, but what about updates? I've got a Nexus 5 just for the stock android and quick update experience.

4. (discussable) no USB C
