But my iPad is now twice as fast after i downloaded another gigabyte of ram for it!

But this would be so cool, Printing your own case? I hope this will happen

All I can think about 3D printing is 3D object piracy now. Say for instance a sculpture, someone scans it in and uploads it to TPB, someone downloads it and prints it off.

What? Lol. You're gona pirate mcdonalds? You wouldnt be able to pirate a real vegetable... Lmao. Read that back and think about it.

Pirate a real vegetable. ~_O

*Facepalm* Im going to bed.

Sir please do some research before posting,

3D Printed food is currently under development, how is it possible you may ask. Similar to how 3D printers and regular printers work, you feed the machine basic units be it ink, material, and basic food units, give it information about shape, dimensions or recipe and it will create something.

So in the future in theory we will be able to ''print'' food in our homes, and one would think the food would have the same nutritional values as it's natural counter part, I'm not sure about the taste, it probably will be a while before you could print your Mcdonalds meal, it will probably be in the shape of pellets and seeds,  but it is coming.

And just like anything digital, you will be able to ''pirate'' it and share it illegally.

Sleep well. : )

This was one if my "what do you want that hasn't been invented yet" being able to 'download' physical items. Have it teleported or built for you. So awesome.

As computers have advanced in the past 10 years I hope that I see medical advancements by the same leaps in the next upcoming years.

Have you seen 2057:The Body? It's a bit outdated considering its a 2007 documentary, but interesting nonetheless. You should check it out on Youtube sometime.

I think we're a LOOOOONG way away from being able to 3D-print microelectronic circuits.

I am excited for the future of 3D printing, though.

3D printed kidneys and hearts are on their way, they're made out of the patient's cells so rejection isn't an obstacle. The organ will also be made out of gel, so overtime the body will adapt to it and the gel will dissolve, leaving the patient with a new heart and the 3D printed heart is no where to be found. It's genius.

i guess you could allocate fast storage solutions to act as ram? you can already do that now as far as i know so i doubt you would need to "download more ram"

oh dear was that YOUR computer i just downloaded a few dozen viruses on when you weren't paying attention?
