Has the LinusTechTips 'No profanity' rule gone? I fear it has what do you think? :huh: No decent vids anymore. :(

 

Edit: OK, let's make this a bit clearer, I mean the LTT vids NOT the forum.

Technically there was/is a no profanity rule, however with such a large amount of traffic enforcing it has become problematic, and they just warn people who go overboard.

 

At least that's what I've been told.

As far as I remember, there never was a ´no profanity rule´. You should be allowed to swear as much as you want, aslong as it's not directed towards another person.

And what is there to fear? Swear words are just words. They are abstract concepts, that holds no power on their own.

 

Edit: Wait, are you talking about the videos? Why does swearing bother you? As already said, they are just words. They act as vocal exclamation points.
